Help build Lannang
Lannang-ue lives in families, not textbooks. If you speak it, or you are learning it alongside a fluent parent or grandparent, you can directly shape what this app teaches: contribute new content, correct what is wrong, and suggest improvements to how Lannang teaches.
Why we need you
Lannang's audio and curriculum are only as good as the real speech they are checked against. There is no big Lannang-ue corpus anywhere in the world. The only true authority is people like your ama and angkong, and you. Every correction and every new word you send makes the app more honest.
Ways to contribute
- Correct what sounds wrong. In any lesson, tap the small flag in the top bar. Pick what is wrong (translation, audio, spelling), write a note, and best of all, record yourself saying it the right way. Your recording goes straight to us and is used to fix the app.
- Teach us new words. In the app, go to Profile, then "Contribute". Send a word or phrase the app should teach, what it means, when you would say it, and a recording if you can. Real family words beat textbook words every time.
- Suggest improvements. The same Contribute screen takes ideas, not just words: a lesson the app is missing, a better example sentence, a unit that should come earlier, anything that would make Lannang teach better.
- Adopt a unit. Fluent speakers can review a whole unit's words and audio with us over email or a call. This is the deepest way to help, and the one we treasure most. Email happykimi.dev@gmail.com with the subject "Adopt a unit".
What contributors get
- Your name in the app's credits and on this page (with your permission), as one of the people keeping Lannang-ue alive.
- Free Lannang Plus. Contributors whose corrections or recordings ship in the app get a year of Lannang Plus, on us. Unit adopters keep Plus for as long as the app exists.
- Family legacy. If your recordings are used, the voice teaching the next generation could literally be yours.
How your contribution ships
Every suggestion and recording is reviewed with fluent speakers before anything changes in the app. We compare submissions against each other and against how families actually speak, so no single submission is applied blindly. Recordings are stored privately, never published raw, and you can delete everything by deleting your account.
